Off-grid energy storage system usage plans and customer precautions?
I. Usage Plan
This plan is suitable for scenarios such as no mains power access, remote areas, and emergency power supply. It uses photovoltaic (PV) + lithium iron phosphate (LFP) energy storage as its core to achieve stable off-grid power supply.
System Configuration: Consists of PV modules, MPPT controller, LFP battery pack, and off-grid inverter. Capacity is calculated based on average daily electricity consumption and the number of consecutive cloudy/rainy days. The inverter has a margin of 1.2 times the total load to accommodate the starting impact of inductive loads such as air conditioners and water pumps.
Operating Mode: During the day, PV prioritizes power supply to the load, with excess power charging the battery. At night and on cloudy/rainy days, the battery discharges to supply power, with automatic BMS protection to prevent overcharging and over-discharging.
Load Management: Prioritize critical loads such as lighting, communication, and refrigerators; stagger the use of high-power equipment during off-peak hours to avoid overload tripping caused by simultaneous startup.
Maintenance Recommendations: Check SOC, voltage, and temperature daily; clean PV panels monthly; tighten wiring and check grounding and heat dissipation quarterly.
II. Customer Precautions
Installation and Environment: Installation must be performed by a certified electrician; the equipment should be placed in a dry, ventilated, dust-free, and non-corrosive environment, with a temperature range of -10℃ to 40℃; keep away from heat sources and open flames; lithium batteries must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
Electrical Safety: Unauthorized modifications to the wiring and overloading are strictly prohibited; disconnect the DC switch during thunderstorms; ensure reliable grounding with a grounding resistance ≤4Ω; immediately stop the machine if any unusual odor, noise, or overheating is detected.
Battery Maintenance: Maintain a State of Charge (SOC) of 20%–80%, avoiding deep discharge; for long-term inactivity, charge to 50%–60%, and recharge monthly; do not disassemble, squeeze, or short-circuit the battery.
Operating Procedures: Start and stop according to the instruction manual, turning on the battery before the load; do not disassemble the machine yourself in case of malfunction, contact the service provider for assistance; retain the certificate of conformity, warranty card, and commissioning records.
Efficiency and Lifespan: Use Class 1 energy efficiency appliances; keep the photovoltaic panels clean and unobstructed; use electricity during off-peak hours to extend system lifespan.
